Numerical Data and Statistics:

Keeping up with the Kardashians:

Statistics tell us that KUWTK was ranked #781 most popular show, as they have recently lost many viewers due to changing television companies from NBC’s E! television channel to Hulu. This is compared to the show in 2010, where they gain over 3.4 million viewers per episode due to the shows’ constant drama and entertainment, whereas in their most recent season, they averaged at 1.4 million per episode. In 2020’s season 20, viewing figures had dropped to under 700k, which is an 82% decrease.

Strictly Come Dancing:

The TV audience figures for the first live showing of Strictly Come Dancing 2023 has decreased compared to the year before according to overnight ratings. Saturday’s episode on BBC One was viewed with an average of 6.6 million people, compared to 6.8 million on average in 2022, whereas in 2021, the first show of the season was watched by 7.9 million viewers on average. However, the finale of Strictly Come Dancing 2023 gained nearly 10 million views. The show is heavily reliant on audiences aged 55 and over, which might cause some people to stop watching due to their attitudes toward homosexual partners within the show.

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here:

The 23rd series in 2023 gained an average of 9 million viewers per episode. The finale of the show for this year drew a peak audience of 7.6 million viewers. The target audience for the show is 16–34-year-olds, which is most likely why it shows so late. According to iNews, the show lost an average of around two million viewers compared to the year before, which was won by former Lioness Jill Scott.
